Me Angela Potvin

Me Angela Potvin has worked as an Immigration lawyer since her accession to the bar in 2013.

She is the founding member of ServImm Immigration Services, has been a member of the Association of Quebec Immigration Lawyers since 2014, member of the CBA since 2019 and board member of CBA, Quebec Immigraiton Division, since 2020.

She has an LL.B/J.D.. in Common Law from Dalhousie University (2010), a Certificate in Civil Law - specialisation Business (2011) and a Political Science and Theatre degree from Concordia University (2007).

She focuses on complex cases, all manner of business immigration, family sponsorships, and temporary residence of all kinds.

Me Emily Rodrigues Freire

Me Emily Rodrigues Freire has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2018, and has concentrated her practice on immigration law, particularly economic immigration.

Prior to completing her Bachelor of law (L.L.B.) at the Université de Montréal, Me Rodrigues Freire obtained a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Honours International development studies, with minors in Women's Studies and International relations, which is what initially sparked her interest in immigration law.

Me Rodrigues Freire is dedicated to the practice of immigration law because she enjoys meeting new people and supporting them in the achievement of their short and long term immigration goals.

Cara de Grandpré, Paralegal

Working for ServImm since 2019, Cara understands the importance of great teamwork.

Providing file preparation and management, she aims to build positive working relationships with all her collaborators.

Having witnessed and experienced first hand some of the frustrations and the uncertainties of immigration procedures, Cara hopes that the support she provides clients enables them to more confidently get to the next phase of their life in Canada.

Me Billel S. Khaili LL.L

Me Billel Khaili graduated with a Civil Law degree from the University of Ottawa and later completed a Juris Doctor at the Université de Montréal.

While at the University of Ottawa, he was awarded the Donald Scarth Thorson and Rémi Michael Beaupré Prize for the highest standing in Statutory Interpretation.

Prior to joining the firm, Me Khaili worked in the federal government in immigration law and decided to focus his practice in this field. Me Khaili has experience in preparing permanent residence applications and temporary residence applications under both federal and provincial immigration programs.

Me Khaili can assist clients and corporations with their global mobility strategy to ensure talent retention.

Nicole Barazan, Articling Student

Nicole is currently an Articling Student at ServImm Immigration Services Inc. She completed the National Program (LL.L & J.D.) at the University of Ottawa in June 2019. Prior to studying and entering the practice of law, Nicole completed her Bachelor of Social Science with a concentration in Criminology and Psychology at the University of Ottawa also.

Coming from a family who immigrated to Canada more than 30 years ago for a better life, Nicole understands the difficulties of settling into a new country and how overwhelming it can be to deal with the immigration process. Nicole is attentive, sensitive and understanding to your situation and needs.

When she is not at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, working out, volunteering, and watching TikTok videos.

Nicole is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
